I love hats!  Outrageous or simple, big or little, I've always had hats in my life.  Put one on your head and you'll be bold and brave and face the world. 
I take millinery classes every chance I can.  I've been to the Altamont School of Art & Craft in Tennessee (great place!) but I usually go to LaGrange, Indiana to Judith M. Millinery.  It's wonderful to learn with other makers.
